School Memories

I will always remember  Giacomo as the sweetest and most sincere student  I’ve encounter at Blaine. Giacomo always had a smile on his face and always  was polite and respectful to everyone. He  always took time to say hello and always with a smile. He had a very gentle and bright soul. I will miss your sweet face in the halls Giacomo

First Day of School

Matt and I remember seeing Jeff walking Giacomo to school on his first day of Kindergarten, and how excited he was. Mason remembers playing in the snow with Giacomo in your backyard on a snow day when schools were closed. We all remember Giacomo’s sweet and kind nature, and his smile. ❤

Laughing Backstage

Giacomo was always super good at making everyone around him feel happy. He would brighten up a room. He was especially good at making long play rehearsals easier by just being himself and lightening the stressful mood. Some of the people backstage got ahold of my phone for a moment and snapped some pictures of Giacomo smiling and chatting.

Scout Law

“Giacomo was proud to memorize the scout law and recited it for us with Alexa”

G Goes Island-Hopping

It feels like G’s life was all about water. This was one of his first trips across the waves, when the Torcameyers visited fruncle Simon’s place on South Finger Island in the San Juans.

G and Steve Washington

When he was really young, Giacomo decided that fruncles Noah and Coll were really called “Steve and Hattie Washington.” We never figured out where those names came from, but they’ve sort of stuck. Here’s “Steve” and G waiting for pizza in Vancouver.

Cardinal G

Once, during a visit to Vancouver, G was cold so he borrowed a hoodie from fruncle Coll. He wore it in a way that made him look like an ecclesiastical figure from the Renaissance, and his deadpan expression made it all the funnier. We all loved G’s sense of humour.
