G Goes Island-Hopping
It feels like G’s life was all about water. This was one of his first trips across the waves, when the Torcameyers visited fruncle Simon’s place on South Finger Island in the San Juans.

When he was really young, Giacomo decided that fruncles Noah and Coll were really called “Steve and Hattie Washington.” We never figured out where those names came from, but they’ve sort of stuck. Here’s “Steve” and G waiting for pizza in Vancouver.
Cardinal G
Once, during a visit to Vancouver, G was cold so he borrowed a hoodie from fruncle Coll. He wore it in a way that made him look like an ecclesiastical figure from the Renaissance, and his deadpan expression made it all the funnier. We all loved G’s sense of humour.
