Penny Arcade

One of the better aspects of working for a business publication is that you get to meet really interesting entrepreneurs. Robert Khoo is a graduate of the UW Foster School of Business and was featured in the school’s award-winning magazine in an article penned by Ed Kromer.

My challenge was to photograph him in the company’s “rather spartan” offices, but give it a high-gloss rock-and-roll look. We covered the floors with enlargements of the company’s comic strip and did a bit of lighting magic. Robert’s confident smirk did the rest!
